Asus GeForce GTX 950 Strix 2GB Overclocking Results
With the power limit set to 111 percent and the temperature limit at 95°C, we set about ramping up the clocks. We managed to add a full 100MHz to the base clock, giving us a new speed of 1,265MHz (1,455MHz boost). This is a 9 percent overclock compared to Asus's factory settings, or 24 percent over reference. At this speed, the card boosted consistently to above 1.5GHz, topping out at around 1.55GHz – an excellent result.
The memory was stable up to an astounding 8.2GHz effective, a massive 24 percent increase over stock speeds. This is clearly a great result but it does reinforce our belief that the GTX 950 Strix should come with a memory overclock applied out of the box.
